Modern 3 bedroom bungalow, situated approximately 30 miles north of La Rochelle, (3 – 4 hr drive from ferry port) in a small quiet development on the outskirts of the village of ANGLES, (pronounced Arngler) just 5 km from miles of beautiful beaches and miles of easy cycling routes and bird-watching areas.

The bungalow sleeps 6. Two doubles, one en-suite with shower, and one twin-bedded room. There is an additional bathroom with shower bath and toilet, and another toilet off the hall.

Fully fitted kitchen and comfortable living room/dining area. BBQ and garden furniture. Blankets and pillows are provided but not linen or towels. A 10 min walk to the village, where you will find two bakeries, a butcher, fish shop, greengrocer, chemist and small spar - type grocery store, as well as the expected large church with a great historical interest.

There are at least a couple of bars and restaurants with a take-away service. A street market twice a week in season and a local ‘CAVE’ makes Angles a very typical French village. People are friendly but little English spoken, though the large Tourism Office is very helpful.

Just a 10 min drive to La Tranche sur Mer, for a large Super U supermarket, and many shops and restaurants, and choice of several beaches, with great surf.

A local agent looks after ‘in season’ bookings, mainly May – Sept. Guests staying outside this period are asked to leave the place clean.

There is a second house opposite owned by friends, which offers a chance for groups to book for up to 12 people.
